About the event
Celebrate the season with a touch of Japanese tradition! At our booth, you can experience the art of kitsuke （着付け）—the cultural practice of dressing in kimono—and even try one on for yourself. For those who wish to bring this beauty home, we’ll also have kimono and kimono accessories available for purchase.
Alongside kimono, explore a collection of handmade items inspired by Japanese arts and crafts, lovingly created by our Kitsuke Club Core Members:
Origami earrings (delicate, origami paper cured with modpodge)
Obi kazari charms (decorative obi charm, adaptable as phone or key charms)
Ningyōgami (traditional style origami paper dolls with magnets for multiuse)
Hair accessories (resin kanzashi combs, or floral hairpins)
